Hide files and folders from Windows Vista Search
Windows Vista search indexer creates indexes on all folders, thereby all files are easily found in the search results. Excluding these folder from the search indexer, the files can be restricted from being displayed in vista search.
Right Click any file or folder, Properties > General > Advanced
In the Advanced Attributes, Uncheck the option ‘Index this folder for faster searching’ and that file or folder will excluded from vista searches.
