Block Ads on Internet Explorer and Firefox or any other.

Ads on many web sites are very annoying and irrelevant. Some Ads are very flashy, sound enabled which might just popup and might put you in bizarre situation.

Blocking the ads in web site can lead to productive browsing too 😉 You’d need to install an add on to either IE , Firefox or another way is to block on Hosts file.

Block using Hosts file.

> This file tells your computer what numerical address (208.109.181.141) is associated with what URL  (www.www.webisee.com.) . This is located at c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc on windows xp. This hosts file can be modified to make the add various ad tracking and malicious websites and make it resolve to local host and fail.

Block Ads on Firefox using Adblock Plus.
