Get a GrandCentral ( Google Voice ) Invite

Google VoiceGoogle acquired GrandCentral, a phone management service in 2007 and there hasn’t  been any news at all. Finally, the wait is over as Google revamped GrandCentral and is relaunching as Google Voice. Google Voice is currently open only for GrandCentral users and will be open to all soon. Early registration gets you a telephone number of your choice.

  10. There are no invites yet — and if there were, the blog author might not have any. (I have an account, and there is no “invite friends” button/option)

See the directions the author posted — they seem to be a more effective route.

  14. All of you who are posting requests are wasting your time. There ARE NO INVITES yet. One CANNOT INVITE FRIENDS to join. It’s not like the gmail invites.

Google has sent me three invites — all to gmail addresses that I have but did not request invites for.
