EXIF viewer reveal complete hidden info for any Photo

Almost all digital cameras save JPEG (.jpg) files with EXIF (Exchangeable Image File) data. EXIF stands for "Exchangeable Image File Format". EXIF has the below metadata tags defined

  • Date and time information.
  • Camera settings – includes camera model and make, and information that varies with each image such as orientation, aperture, shutter speed, focal length, metering mode, and ISO speed information.
  • A thumbnail for previewing the picture on lcd and computers.
  • Descriptions and copyright information.

This type of EXIF data may be found in JPG, TIFF, PNG, MIFF and HDP images, as well as many TIFF-based RAW images, and even some AVI and MOV videos. It is not supported in JPEG 2000, PNG, or GIF.

How to View EXIF data embedded in photo file.

In Windows XP and later Microsoft operating systems, some of this EXIF information may be viewed by right clicking on an image file and clicking properties; from the properties dialog click the Summary tab.
