Ubuntu offers GNOME and KDE version of Desktop Managers. Some of you who just moved from Windows OS might love this Windows 7 theme which bring the much familiar interface to Ubuntu. This will involve few commands to be entered in the terminal screen to download and install the W7 theme.
- Make sure you have Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
- Open Terminal and Enter below commands
cd $HOME wget http://web.lib.sun.ac.za/ubuntu/files/help/theme/gnome/win7-setup.sh
chmod 0755 $HOME/win7-setup.sh
$HOME/win7-setup.sh
- After these statements, logout and login to apply the theme.
